WHY WEAR ANTI-CHAFING CREAM WHEN DOING SPORT?

Discover why anti-chafing cream is beneficial for your sport, when to apply it, and where to apply it to keep you as comfortable as can be!

1/ WHY WEAR ANTI-CHAFING CREAM WHEN DOING SPORT?

Anti-chafing cream is a great way to limit the rubbing and irritation caused by repeated movements during sport.

It protects your skin by creating a water- and sweat-resistant barrier that stops irritation and prevents blisters from forming.

2/ WHERE SHOULD YOU APPLY ANTI-CHAFING CREAM?

Anti-chafing cream should be applied in a thick layer to all areas prone to rubbing: neck, nipples, armpits, inner thighs, feet, etc. You shouldn't rub it in as it protects you best when it remains on the surface of your skin.

Different sports lead to chafing in different areas, so it's up to you to apply the cream in the right place:

- for running, you may want to apply it to your feet to prevent blisters, to your thighs, under your arms, and to your nipples (for men) or under your bra strap (for women).

- for cycling, you probably want to apply it to your inner thighs.

- for triathlon, applying anti-chafing cream to your neck will stop your neoprene wetsuit from rubbing. You can also apply it to the same areas as recommended for cycling and running.

Anti-chafing cream is water-resistant (perfect for the swimming stage of your triathlon) and sweat-resistant to protect your skin throughout your race.

3/ WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY ANTI-CHAFING CREAM?

You should apply anti-chafing cream before training sessions and competitions in a thick layer by slightly massaging the areas that are prone to chafing.

No more distractions: stay comfortable throughout your activity with anti-chafing cream!

4/ TWO APPLICATION OPTIONS: CREAM OR STICK

Anti-chafing cream lets you massage areas that are prone to chafing.

The practical stick version means you can apply it without getting your hands greasy.
